Follow Randolph County Recent Arrests
No single agency handles every arrest in Randolph County. A deputy, a Moberly police officer, or a Missouri State Highway Patrol trooper can make the stop. Booking usually happens at Randolph County Jail, where the Sheriff's Office keeps the custody record.
Its JailTracker portal, hosted by a vendor, is the main official way to check whether a named person is in custody right now. It is not a complete arrest list. It is not a court outcome either.
The county publishes no date-bounded booking feed. That gap matters. An arrest can happen before intake data shows up, and a release can happen before your next search. The two time-window resources serve different needs without promising more than the county actually posts.
| Window | Verified Randolph County source | Best use |
|---|---|---|
| Same day or 24 hours | No dedicated official feed; use JailTracker as a current-custody check | Test whether a recent booking has reached the roster, then confirm with the sheriff |
| Several days or a week | The legacy Weekly Crime Report says “Coming Soon” | Reconstruct the period through records, court filings, and dated news with care |
| Current custody alerts | Missouri MOVANS/VINELink, with Randolph participation verified in the live search | Track a matching person’s reported release or transfer status |
For same-day searches, start with 24 Hour Arrests. The wider county record is covered under Arrest Log. Booking charges can later be changed, dropped, or resolved by a court.
Randolph County Arrest Booking Timing
Arrest time and booking time are two different things. Transport comes first. Then intake, identity checks, data entry, photography, and finally the public portal update. Randolph County posts no fixed timeline for any of it. The State Auditor's sheriff report notes that the sheriff holds and transports prisoners, which explains why the county jail stays the central search point even when another agency made the arrest.
A blank name search has several possible meanings. The person may still be processing. They may be released, held elsewhere, or listed under different identifying data. A restricted record can also hide a match. Check the arresting agency, the booking destination, and the date before treating a roster miss as proof that nothing happened.
Note: Randolph County publishes no set roster refresh schedule, no overnight cutoff, and no special weekend posting rule.
Randolph County Arrest Feed Gap
The sheriff's older site still carries familiar navigation. Menus cover the inmate roster, weekly crime report, most wanted, tips, and contact pages. The roster doorway leads to the active custody portal. The report endpoint behaves differently, offering no current blotter and no archive. The official Weekly Crime Report endpoint shows the gap plainly.
The page supports only one conclusion. No working official same-day or multi-day report is present there, though that says nothing about whether arrests occurred.
Search Randolph County Jail Roster
The sheriff-linked JailTracker/Public Safety Cloud portal is the main named-person lookup for Randolph County Jail. The site runs on dynamic web code. A text-only view can stall at a loading screen. Open it in a normal browser and let the interface finish loading. A result may include several fields. The sheriff does not guarantee the same fields or a photograph for every booking.
| Search or result field | How to use it |
|---|---|
| Name | Start with the most exact spelling available and compare similar names |
| Booking date or number | Separate one custody event from another when the portal displays it |
| Agency and facility | Confirm who made the arrest and that Randolph County Jail holds the person |
| Charges and bond | Read as entered at booking, not as findings or a final release order |
| Status or release data | Check current custody while remembering that portal status can change |
| Photo and descriptors | Use only when displayed, and verify identity with more than an image |
Search a Randolph County booking in a short, careful sequence:
- Open the sheriff roster doorway or direct JailTracker portal and wait for the full interface.
- Search the person’s name and narrow the result with any status filters the live portal offers.
- Compare the booking date, agency, charge text, bond or status, facility, and photo when shown.
- Record the official source and lookup date because release or transfer can alter a live result.
- Use Case.net and the record custodian for the court outcome or a formal copy.
The official sheriff-linked roster doorway shows where Randolph County directs a custody search.
The live portal controls the current result. Treat any stored page view only as an example of the source interface, not a display of people or booking photos.
Randolph County Sheriff App Limits
The official Randolph County Sheriff MO app works as an outreach tool. The Apple listing and Google Play listing describe public-safety news and tip submission. Crime reporting and similar features also appear. Both warn that the app is not for emergencies. Neither listing mentions a jail roster, mugshot search, or recent-arrests feed. For custody questions, start with JailTracker. Test the current app version rather than trusting an old description.
MOVANS/VINELink plays a different role. It can track one matching custody record. It can also support registration for release or transfer notices, depending on the live Missouri system's coverage. Missouri changed registration in May 2026. Alerts now arrive by SMS text or email. Phone calls and VINELink-app alerts ended. Full search and alert steps sit on the VINELink Check page.
Randolph County Booking Source Order
Start with the record owner. Court and state systems come next, covering the parts of the process they control. Local journalism and county pages run by private publishers can supply a date. They can also supply an agency lead. None of them becomes an official Randolph County arrest record just by repeating public data.
| Channel | Photo | Status | What it answers |
|---|---|---|---|
| Sheriff-linked JailTracker | When displayed | Official county custody portal | Current Randolph County Jail custody and available booking fields |
| Sheriff or arresting agency request | May be requested | Official custodian | Arrest report, booking record, and public photo subject to restrictions |
| Case.net and Circuit Clerk | Not the booking-photo source | Official court source | Filed charges, docket events, hearings, and disposition |
| Missouri DOC search | Some profiles | Official state source | Active state prison or supervision status, not today’s county booking |
| Local news | Sometimes | Editorial and incomplete | Event context and agency attribution, not a full roster |
| Private county aggregators | Often | Unofficial and potentially stale | Secondary dated leads that must be checked against official records |
Use those sources in an order that preserves both speed and accuracy:
- Search JailTracker for current Randolph County Jail custody and any displayed booking photograph.
- Confirm a missing or unclear booking with the sheriff or the known arresting agency.
- Read the filed case and final disposition through the court, not through a copied charge list.
- Treat news and private county pages only as secondary leads, and recheck every key fact officially.
Mugshots Zone, RecentlyBooked, Arrests.org, and Busted Newspaper all carry Randolph County material. The quality varies. Duplicates, old status, weak identity matches, and stale outcomes are common. Mugshots.com lists no Randolph County section. ABC17/KMIZ, KXEO, Central MO Info, and the Moberly Monitor-Index publish episodic local coverage rather than a guaranteed arrest feed. Check official sources first.
Randolph County Recent Arrests by City
Three facts sit apart: where the arrest happened, which agency made it, and where the booking took place. A city officer in Moberly can arrest someone who then lands in Randolph County Jail. A county resident might be held somewhere else entirely. Every city route below begins with the local agency's own facts. It then checks the county custody system.
- Moberly Recent Arrests: Moberly has its own police department, but no city booking feed was verified. County JailTracker is the practical custody check after an MPD booking.
- Huntsville Recent Arrests: the county seat uses the sheriff and county jail path, with sheriff law-enforcement services documented by the State Auditor.
- Clark Recent Arrests: no city roster or blotter was found, so the sheriff, JailTracker, and court record form the verified path.
Some entries on the roster name the arresting agency. Check that field rather than crediting every Randolph County arrest to a single department.
Randolph County Arrest Record Fields
A booking record covers the custody stage only. It can name the person, show when the Randolph County Jail took them in, and list a bond or status when one exists. Fields differ from record to record. The roster is dynamic, so no field is promised on every entry.
| Field | What it shows |
|---|---|
| Name and identifiers | The identity used in the custody entry; compare age, date, agency, or case data when shown |
| Booking date and number | The intake event and portal identifier, which may differ from the time of arrest |
| Arresting agency | The deputy, police department, patrol, or other agency linked to the event |
| Charges as booked | Charges recorded at intake, subject to later amendment or dismissal |
| Bond and custody status | A listed amount, condition, hold, release, or transfer state when entered |
| Booking photograph | An identification image if the public entry makes it available |
| Court and release data | Useful leads that should be verified with Case.net, the Clerk, or the jail |
- Booking
- The intake process after an arrest, including identity and custody data.
- Arraignment
- An early court appearance when the charge is stated and key rights or release issues are addressed.
- Bond
- A court-set release condition. A listed amount is not the final outcome of the case.
- Disposition
- The recorded result of a charge, such as dismissal, plea, acquittal, or conviction.
- Expungement
- A legal process that closes eligible records under a court order and Missouri law.
Randolph County Booking Bond and Release
A 2025 audit shows the Randolph County Sheriff collects bond and prisoner receipts. That points to a local custody role. It does not publish a current bond schedule. Treat any bond figure on the roster or a private site as unconfirmed. Verify any figure with the jail or the court. Payment, a court order, an outside hold, or a status update can each affect release.
| Record state | Where to check | What it means |
|---|---|---|
| Just booked | JailTracker and sheriff | Intake may still be processing, and the public entry can lag |
| In custody | JailTracker, jail, and MOVANS when covered | The person is reported held at the time of the lookup |
| Released or transferred | Sheriff record and Case.net | Custody changed, but the arrest and court record may remain |
| Sentenced or supervised by Missouri | MODOC offender search | State custody or supervision is distinct from the county booking |
Does release mean the case ended? No. Release only closes the custody chapter. After someone leaves Randolph County Jail, the criminal case can still move through filing and hearings. Check Case.net or the Circuit Clerk for that phase, and treat a bond amount as a number set, not necessarily a number paid.
Randolph County Booking Photo Access
The linked roster sometimes shows a booking photo. Randolph County promises nothing about images, though. No rule requires a photo for every booking, a set upload time, or a fixed window for keeping images online. A blank photo area means little by itself. It can reflect a delay, a release, a restriction, a platform setting, or something record-specific entirely.
When a public record appears without its photo, contact the sheriff or the arresting agency. Ask whether the image is open and requestable. Juvenile, sealed, expunged, investigative, victim, safety, and medical material can all be withheld or redacted. A request still guarantees nothing. Private publisher images should never stand in for the official record.
Request Randolph County Arrest Records
Randolph County publishes no booking-photo form, local fee sheet, or guaranteed production time. Start with the sheriff's county-directory contact. Ask for the jail or the records custodian. If a different agency made the arrest, name it in the request or ask the county to point you to the right custodian.
- Give the person’s full name, the best date range, and the arresting agency if known.
- Ask for the public arrest report, booking record, booking number, and public booking photo.
- Request charges as entered, bond or release information, and release date when those fields are open.
- Ask for the expected format, lawful redactions, fee estimate, and production date before material cost is incurred.
- If access is denied, ask for the written legal basis and whether the record is closed, sealed, expunged, juvenile, or destroyed under schedule.
The current county departments page lists Sheriff Andy Boggs at 372 Hwy. JJ, Huntsville, MO 65259, reachable at 844-277-6555, extension 107. Missouri Sunshine Law sets the response baseline. Custodians must answer as soon as possible, and no later than the end of the third business day. Research or redaction can take longer. The custodian simply has to explain the delay. Paper copies run up to 10 cents per page. Actual staff time for search and duplication can be charged on top. That is a state-law ceiling, not a Randolph County quote, so ask first.
The official sheriff directory page repeats the current contact details.
The directory confirms the current sheriff and extension. Older listings still name a former officeholder, so the fresh contact details matter.
Randolph County Arrest Law and Removal
Missouri Revised Statutes § 610.100 defines an arrest report. It covers an agency record of arrest, detention, or confinement and charge. Miss the 30-day filing deadline. The report then closes, apart from disposition information and statutory exceptions. That rule governs legal access to the agency report. It does not erase a roster entry, search result, or private copy on day 30. Separately, Missouri Revised Statutes § 407.1150 covers published criminal-record information, booking photos included. It bars publishers from charging a fee or anything of value to remove or correct it. Preserve the URL and any payment demand. Skip paid-removal services, and get legal advice if needed. The official anti-pay-to-remove statute shows the governing text.
The statute bans charging for correction or removal. It does not erase an accurate public record on its own. Free publisher correction routes sit apart from the official record. RecentlyBooked says it considers free changes for sealed or expunged records, dismissals, wrong-person data, juvenile data, duplication, and some errors. Mugshots Zone says it tries to remove sealed or expunged material. Those are private policies, not county orders. Check each publisher's current terms on its own site. For the source record, Missouri's expungement statutes and the court process control everything. A court petition may need to name the sheriff, police, prosecutor, and Highway Patrol CJIS. It may also need to name other holders. Nothing is guaranteed.
Randolph County Juvenile Booking Records
Juvenile records in Randolph County are closed for a reason. A real request for juvenile information was refused. It was sent to the Chief Juvenile Officer. That matters for anyone hunting booking photos. When a juvenile arrest or case never surfaces, the block is legal, not technical. Copied images and private databases cannot lawfully get around it.
Ask the proper custodian what may be released. Ask which office owns the request. Sealed and expunged records narrow access. Confidential and safety-based limits can too. A search that returns nothing proves nothing. It says the public record was withheld, not that no arrest ever happened.
Randolph County Arrest Record Retention
Missouri's retention schedule for sheriffs sets firm minimums. Inmate and detainee files, SHF 013, must be kept at least five years after release. The general jail activity log, SHF 012, carries the same five-year floor. Those rules bind the office itself. They promise neither five years of online roster access. They set no fixed public term for any booking photo.
Older Randolph County records may take a written sheriff request. They may also take the originating agency, Case.net, or old newspaper digging. The State Archives database is not a live person search. Much of what it retains was never digitized. A 2025 audit flagged records management around electronic communications. That concern does not prove jail data or app posts were lost. It does justify asking which schedule covers electronic booking exports, app submissions, social posts, and jail messages. It also justifies asking whether any audit or litigation hold applies.
Note: Ask the Randolph County custodian whether a missing record was pulled from the web, closed lawfully, expunged, transferred, or destroyed under schedule.
Randolph County Wanted Warrant Checks
Randolph County publishes no working warrant-search portal. The sheriff's legacy Most Wanted page still exists. It reads "Coming Soon" and names no subjects. Its own disclaimer says any future list would update daily, with each warrant verified through the Warrants Division. No list is live, so that daily cadence cannot be stated as current fact. The official Randolph County Most Wanted endpoint shows the placeholder and its safety warning.
That page offers no subject gallery at all. The real warrant path in Randolph County is direct verification, not an aging web list. Call the sheriff's main line and ask for the Warrants Division. A filed court matter can be checked with the Randolph County Circuit Clerk. Case.net works too. A docket event helps, but it is not a full live warrant check. Warrants get served, recalled, quashed, and changed. Anyone who might be named should reach a lawyer. That ensures a safe, lawful resolution. Never approach or try to apprehend a person. Give tips to law enforcement, and use 911 in an emergency.
Randolph County Arrest Court Handoff
Randolph County's custody-to-court path runs through one building. The sheriff contact and the Circuit Clerk share the same Huntsville courthouse address, which makes the handoff unusually clear. The Clerk files local criminal matters, from traffic offenses up through felonies. Once a case is filed, Missouri Case.net can display docket events, hearings, charges, judgments, and sentences, within the limits set for confidential and restricted records.
The typical sequence runs arrest, booking and possible photo, roster status, arraignment, later hearings, and disposition. An arraignment is an early hearing. Bond concerns release while a case is pending. The disposition records what finally happened to a charge. Need a certified or complete court record? Contact the Circuit Clerk rather than treating the online docket as official.
Randolph County Court Case Search Limits
Case.net is public, but it is neither universal nor instant. A very recent arrest can predate any prosecutor filing. Name variations, different court divisions, confidentiality, juvenile status, or sealing may all hide a result. Technical access limits can too. Search by exact name or case number when possible. Narrow by court and filing date. Open the docket before concluding anything.
The Randolph County Circuit Clerk serves weekdays from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. at 372 Hwy. JJ, Suite 1A, Huntsville, reachable at 844-277-6555, extension 400. Missouri courts also offer Track This Case notices for filed matters. Those alerts are a convenience only. They are not official court notices or a stand-in for custody notifications.
Randolph County Jail Versus MODOC
People often mix up two very different lockups. Moberly Correctional Center is a Missouri Department of Corrections prison. The Randolph County Jail is run locally by the sheriff. Someone doing state time at Moberly sits in state custody. State custody is not a fresh Randolph County booking. To look up state prisoners, use the official MODOC offender search. It covers active prisoners and people on probation or parole. Certain records stay hidden. Reasons include safety, security, and confidentiality.
A DOC profile shows what the state publishes. That can mean a photo, a DOC number, and the assigned facility. It may also list sentence details, offenses, aliases, and physical descriptors. Call that image a DOC offender photo. It is not a Randolph County mugshot by itself. A separate county booking record must back up the label. Discharged individuals drop out of the active DOC search entirely. An empty result there does not erase old records. County or court records from years past can still exist.
Randolph County Custody Search Paths
Where a person sits in the system decides where you search. Just booked or held at Randolph County Jail? The sheriff's roster and records are the right path. Released people can vanish from the live roster. An arrest report or court case may still exist. A sentenced Missouri prisoner belongs in the MODOC offender search. So does anyone under active state supervision. Federal inmates go through the Bureau of Prisons locator. Immigration custody has its own tool, the ICE detainee locator.
None of those federal systems feed Randolph County booking data. The Bureau of Prisons locator typically offers location or release status. It does not offer a county-style photo. U.S. Marshals policy bars public release of federal prisoner photos and personal histories. ICE demands exact identifying details. The system warns that some people or recent changes may not appear. Randolph County Jail lists no ICE detention contract. An outside hold alone should never be read as proof of one.
Current Randolph County Sheriff Contact
Names change, and old pages lag. Earlier Randolph County materials name Aaron K. Wilson as sheriff. That is out of date. The 2025 State Auditor report documents the transition, and the current county directory lists Andy Boggs, who took office on January 1, 2025. Route any current contact through the county directory rather than an undated cached page.
